Big
Thompson Trail Loveland has 13.5 miles of trails from
Wilson Ave on the west to Boyd Lake on the east. All paved along the Big
Thompson River. Another trail head at highway 287 and the river. Trail
moves east and northeast through the
city to the trail head at east Eisenhower & Cheyenne

Blue Sky Trail One of Larimer Counties newest trails finished in
June 2006. It is a 5.5 mile trail connecting trails from Devils
backbone trail head north to the Lory State Park Visitors Center for a
continuous trail 15.5miles. It
also connects with the coyote Ridge Trail system trails. |

Boyd Lake
State Park Trail on west side of Boyd Lake. Part of
the Loveland City Trail System. Trail heads at Boyd Lake, Also
Eisenhower & Denver St as well as Denver (Cty 10) & 65th. See
Loveland trail below.

Bulwark Ridge
25 miles west of Loveland. Highway 34 to Drake turn right on Cty Rd
43 6 miles to Dunraven Rd. Follow this Rd 3 miles to trail head. Trail
walks the boundary of Comanche Peak Wilderness to top of Signal
Mountain. |

Carter Lake. Sundance Trail 3 miles easy to moderate with 1/2
mile wheelchair access |

Carter Lake. Fawn Hollow Trail off county Rd 31 trailhead south
of Dam 1 or at the saddle. 1 mile easy to moderate. |

Coyote Ridge - A
pleasant hike that takes your thru the Hogbacks of the Front Range
Between Ft. Collins & Loveland off Taft Hill Rd |

Drake - A fairly steep
hike with views of Signal Mtn, Palisade Peak, and Round Mtn.

Trail Trail resumes
off west Eisenhower (Highway 34) east of Morning drive goes north to
Wilson Ave and then to Glen Isle.

North Fork - Big Thompson River
- A pleasant hike that follows the North Fork of the Big Thompson
River.

Rim Rock Trail - A hike
that gives views of the Hogbacks and the Rocky Mountains

Round_Mountain - A long
steep hike, but the scenery is well worth the effort.

Sullivans Stroll - A
short but steep hike up a heavily wooded canyon that abounds in
solitude.
